Hey everyone! Apologies for the delay—life has been pretty hectic, but after weeks of refactoring and development, the Materials Planner has finally been updated! 🎉

This update involved a complete overhaul across the entire website ecosystem, so there may be some early issues as everything settles in. If you encounter any bugs, please report them to our Discord Server!

Compared to the old version, here are some of the cool new features:

• Up-to-date Resonators & Weapons: Now includes everything up to version 2.1 and will continue to update alongside the site database.
• Google Sync for To-Do Items: Your todo items will now automatically sync with your website player UID profile.
• Material Summary Panel: Get a quick overview of all the materials you need to farm.
• Customizable To-Do List: Hide or show specific items to keep your calculations clean and distraction-free.
• New UI for Forte Circuit Planning: Pick levels and nodes more intuitively than ever before.

On top of that, we’ve made UI tweaks and optimizations for better mobile responsiveness and slightly improved the light theme (for the brave few who use it).

Thanks to My1, PlayStation 5 Rovers can now seamlessly import and track their pull data using our newly introduced PS5 import method!

Additionally, if you’ve noticed, the import link automatically redirected you to the import page with the platform already selected. This is made possible by our new dynamic routing functionality for the import methods. Gone are the days of teaching others which platform or method to use to import. Simply visit the appropriate import page, then copy the URL. Let the website do the talking for you!

Furthermore, on the backend, we've implemented several website infrastructure and UI optimizations. While you might not notice them right away, they’ll help enhance your overall browsing experience.

As we move towards version 2.1, we’ll gradually update older features to align with the game's latest content. The update will bring substantial changes, so don't expect it too soon! Until then, may your Convenes be ever golden, Rover. ✨

Heya everyone!

First off, a huge thank you for sticking with us as we transitioned our new website. Your patience and support while using our legacy import tutorial and checking out the FAQ and import troubleshooting guides haven’t gone unnoticed. These resources are built around the most common issues you’ve shared with us on Discord, so we appreciate you taking the time to go through them.

We’re excited to share that the website is now running on a new format with a revamped i18n repository for translations! We’ve simplified things by deduplicating a lot of keys in favor of a more reusable message structure. Even better, the wuwatracker/i18n repository is now open for public contributions via our Crowdin page.

The best part? The project includes the previous translation memory database, so any new suggestions you make can build off what’s already there.

Before translations get merged into the upstream codebase, others can view and vote on your suggestions. Once they’re reviewed, a proofreader of the language will give the final approval.

If you're interested in becoming a proofreader, you can apply on our Discord Server. Just fill out the application form and we’ll take it from there!

Lastly, I'd like to give a special shoutout to everyone on Discord who’s helped us debug and smoothen the edges of the new site. Your feedback has been invaluable in getting us closer to a stable version. We'll continue to respond to your support tickets as we continue to work towards bringing the older site features up-to-date.

As you may have noticed based on this beautiful blog-like changelog, the website just underwent a major codebase overhaul! You'll need to upgrade your old data to our new format.

To give some context, we had very humble beginnings we first starded writing and published the first version to the public, I was naive and inexperienced in organizing website projects. Originally, I thought I'd write a quick small tool my friends and I would use to count pity like how other gacha game websites do it and that would be it. To my surprise, after a couple days and weeks following Wuthering Waves' release, a good number of people started to rely on the tool and it garnered quite a bit of attention in different places on the internet. Being an easily influenced person, I started working on a lot of features based on community feedback and market gaps almost every day for weeks on end.

After that, the website started getting new features like;

• an event timeline
• an achievement tracker
• global statistics
• inventory tracker
• collection viewer
• website language support
• and many more...

Then, development started getting a bit hectic at times with me patching bugs, maintainining existing features & content, keeping updated with the latest game news, answering questions, and other things. It was getting harder to balance all of these things as a single person while also balancing my studies as a Computer Science student.

I loved every single second of it.

In other words, it was an incredibly fulfilling experience and one of the most enjoyable undertakings I've had in a long time. Throughout this project, I had the privilege of meeting many talented individuals from diverse countries who contributed to translating the website, ensuring we could provide the best experience for languages that Kuro Games hadn't originally supported. Along the way, I gained invaluable knowledge in system design, programming, statistics, design, and management, all of which helped optimize the daily operations of the site. If it wasn't for this project, I wouldn't have grew to the kind of person I am today.

Despite all of that, after countless sleepless nights and for the sake of my own well-being, I realize it's time to step on the brakes to slow down a bit and look back at the core purpose of the website: to serve as a tool for tracking and aggregating pull data to share with your friends & community. In line with that, I did a major code rewrite and infrastructure migration to make way for better features and ensure the future of the project.

Moving forward, thanks to our new dedicated server & codebase, we open the doors to more possibilities & features and I'm excited to work on them & the challenges that come with it. But this time, I'll take things a bit slower and approach decision-making with the longevity, scalability, and maintainability of the website in mind—as opposed to moving fast and breaking things.

I'd like to personally give my sincere and heartfelt thanks to all the people involved—both directly & indirectly—in helping maintain & develop this project. It wasn't possible without you all and I am forever grateful all of your contributions.
